Our story
Svelto! is born
We found Svelto! as a spin-off of our data management research group at the University of Basilicata.
There are five of us at the start, PhDs and PhD students.Among the 10 best startups
Our first recognition arrives: Digitalic magazine names Svelto! among the 10 best Italian startups of the year.
We also begin working with major clients, including PwC, OpenFiber and Armani.SMAU Innovation Award
Our collaboration with Edison in renewable energy makes us one of the winners of the SMAU Innovation Award.

Today there are twenty of us: a young, almost entirely technical team, where PhDs and new graduates work side by side.
